We visited Veli Café on Christmas Day and really appreciated that they were open. The food and coffee were excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We had a breakfast burrito with spicy ketchup and an avocado toast with poached eggs, and both were delicious. The service was lovely and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. A great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.
Delicious Avocado Toast with scrambled eggs, must try. Perfect toasted, slight crunch and soft. Perfectly seasoned scramble. Texture is spot on. Wow. Plus it has a cozy vibe to the interior. Highly recommended.
We came to visit this beautiful city on our way to Bern and looked for a great place to get late breakfast and decent coffee. We found this lovely cafe in a search and decided to try it out. 0 regrets. One of the best meals I’ve had since being in Switzerland. 10/10, flavor, presentation and service was spot on. Restroom was clean and tidy. I wish I could eat here weekly! Thanks for the lovely experience!

Wow! One of the nicest cafes we have been to through out Europe. As soon as you walk in, you instantly know excellence awaits. Coffee is outstanding and we had most of the food items over several days, none of them disappointed in anyway. The fit out and vibe of the place is next level. The staff were also very welcoming and even remembered our orders and preferences, which shows their attention to detail.
Lovely place with friendly staff and wonderful food. The menu is marked clearly with vegan or vegetarian options, and with English translations of the food. They were also happy to accommodate our dog inside. The staff also spoke great English which helped us as travellers.
The atmosphere here is impeccable! Their shop is super cozy and their coffee is great tasting too. Really enjoyed their breakfast burritos and banana bread stack too.

Tucked away between 2 busy streets...its a GEM of a place. The food is Delish. Simply Delish. We had breakfast and returned the next day for lunch. Michaela actually remembered us! She gave such excellent service. Highly recommend.
